2024 Guangxi University GXU Top Discipline Scholarship Announcement

Guangxi University has initiated the recruitment of the 2024 GXU Top Discipline Scholarship. Please read through the following instructions before you begin making the application.

Language of teaching: Chinese language

Duration of Scholarship

1. Major Studies: 4 years (5 years for Architecture and Animal Medicine)

2. Preparatory Chinese language learning: 1 year.

Note: Students who do not possess the HSK Certificate (level 4 at least) should attend the preparatory Chinese language learning.  Before the major studies, students should pass the HSK test (HSK 4 at least ) during the preparatory year. 

Content of Scholarship

Free tuition, accommodation, and insurance;

A monthly stipend of USD 70 

Basic Qualification of Applicants

1. Applicants shall be in good health condition.

2. Applicants should be in good health and non-Chinese citizens with at least a 10-year experience of living, studying, or working in the domiciliary country.

3. Applicants shall respect China and its laws and policies.

4. Applicants shall behave well as diligent students with good grades.

5. Applicants shall not simultaneously accept other types of scholarships in China.

Time for application

Deadline: 15 JULY 2024

Document required

1. Diploma and transcript of highest education: The documents should be translated and notarized. High school graduates who did not get the diploma should turn to their school for a provisional graduate certificate.
2. Study plan: The plan should be well written In Chinese or more than 500 words in English. 
3. Passport
4. Medical Check Result: a form sample will be given by us and should be filled in English and signed by the hospital.
5. Video of Self-introduction: Applicant should make a self-introduction through a video clip of more than 5 minutes.
